Dear Brethren in the Lord:
“And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon
it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment,
and hasting righteousness." (Isaiah 16: 5)
In their last reports, the brethren said that on 1st January
2010, they held a thanksgiving worship and Bible study at Mahinhin,
Taytay, where they glorified and exalted our Lord for His great mercy
and faithfulness. They dwelled on John 3:1-8 for their morning
devotion. Messages and preachings were taken from Matt.
6:32-33, Phil. 3:12-16, and the 8th chapter of Deuteronomy. Bro. Arman,
Bro. Alfie, and some church visitors attended the worship and Bible
teaching. During a recent visitation, the brethren shared the Word and
declared the Glorious Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to Jocel de Leon,
Ernesto, Joy and two members from the Villanueva family. Bible studies
continue at the Dividend Homes with Bro. Ruben, Sister Rosa, Arvan and
Arvie; with Bro. Arman and Bro. Alfie, who are studying Bro. C.D.
Cole's Vol. 1 lessons on “Good Works and Doctrine of God” at Floodway
with Michael, Weng, Jocelyn, and Mary Ann; with Maryknoll, JP, and
Maribel; in Junction, Cainta, with Ka Fred, Aldie, Sister Maricar, and
Bro. Allan. Roseline, a new visitor, recently attended the worship
service. She is from Cebu (an island south of Manila in the Visayas
island chain) but works in Taytay, Rizal. Please continue to pray for
Bro. Aries, Sister Vangie, their children and family that our Lord may
continually guide and protect them.
The Sunday worship service and mid-week prayer meeting continue, as
well as the visitation and Bible study in Pasig and surrounding
villages.  The brethren have started a new home-based Bible study in
Sitio Taguig, with participants, as well as their neighbors Richard and
Marie who are Catholic but interested in participating in the Bible
study.  This new Bible study is set to continue regularly every
Wednesday at 2 p.m.  On Thursdays, Bible study continues at the
Floodway with Sister Fe, Mang Eddie, Jay, Marithes and other visitors.
Fridays at 6 p.m., Bible study is at the Floodway in Rosario with
Boboy, Rowena, Roy, Mark, Marko, Melody, and Ans.  On Saturdays at 3
p.m., Bible study is with Sister Melanie, Merlyn, Belen, Shierly,
Claire, Michael, Kim, Mia, Lea, and Arjie.  On Sunday afternoons, Bible
study is in Rosario with Mang Emmanuel’s family.  The Lord continues to
bring visitors to church--Marlon, Joanna, Rowena, Edgar, Rodilyn, Nanay
Phoebe and her family.  At a recent prayer meeting, several of the
brethren came early to help wrap hymnals with protective covers to keep
them clean and prolong their use.  Please continue to pray in behalf of
Nanay Cora, Vangie, Tatay Al, Lea and family, Willie, Elvie, Zeny and
family, Ineng and family, Gary, Bro. Romel, Bro. Litoy, Bro. Reynan and
two children, Zenaida, Sister Analyn, Mang Sito, Josephine, Mang Leo
and family, Aling Charito, 2 teenagers, Sister Helen, Sister Julie, and
others, that they may remain faithful serving the Lord each day.  Some
of these precious souls are participants in our “C.D. Cole’s
Definitions of Doctrine” teaching group.  Few others who get
discouraged by the family problems confronting them are in need of
prayers. Please pray that they may continue trusting the Lord and to
stay close to Him, Who is our Solid Rock, Firm Foundation and Eternal
Hope.
The brethren have been holding Bible study at the homes of the members,
including at Sister Lina's house in San Pedro, Laguna, where her 9-year-old
grandson is hearing the Word for the first time.  In GMA, Cavite, the brethren
continue the worship and Bible study---Bro. Rolan, Sister Tracey and their
children, Sister Araceli, Sister Myra and her two children, Sister Leticia,
Sister Abigael and Bro. Baldo. Please keep them in your prayers that the Lord
may continue to strengthen their faith and keep them from the ways of this
present evil world. Sister Dhing is home for a short while from working abroad
and has attended church along with her family.  Please pray that she can find a
tenable job closer to home so she can be with her family.  The brethren also
continue to teach the children and youth every Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.  In
Silang, Cavite, the brethren continue to ask for your prayers for the precious
souls involved in that work--Sister Anavir, Sister Jeanne, Sister Joan, Sister
Jane, Bro. Jorvan, Sister Jairuleen, Sister Jaiseree--that they may continue to
walk in His grace and become faithful witnesses for Him to their loved ones and
neighbors.
We thank the Lord for the brethren at Grace Baptist Church in Mt.Vernon,
Georgetown, KY; South Irvine Baptist Church, Irvine, KY; Bryan Station Baptist
Church, Lexington, KY; Ocoonita Missionary Baptist Church in Jonesville, VA;
and, the other brethren from the Lord's Churches of like faith and order, for
your continued financial support and most especially for your faithful prayers
in our behalf and the Lord's work.  May we grow stronger in God's grace as
we wait for His soon return. "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus
Christ." (Titus 2:13)

In His glorious service,
Bro. Ed Quetua
